Franchise overview
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers entered the NFL as an expansion franchise in 1976 and represent the Tampa Bay region from their home in Tampa. The club competes in the NFC South and has developed a distinct identity around its pirate-themed branding and Florida Gulf Coast home.
The franchise has won two Super Bowls in two very different eras: Super Bowl XXXVII after the 2002 season and Super Bowl LV after the 2020 season. The second championship was won on the Buccaneers’ home field in Tampa.
