The Miami Hurricanes represent the University of Miami in Coral Gables and compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Miami’s athletics history includes national success in football, baseball, tennis, diving and other NCAA sports.
Hurricanes football won national championships in 1983, 1987, 1989, 1991 and 2001, creating one of college football’s defining modern dynasties. Miami baseball has also built a major national tradition with multiple College World Series championships.
Miami football plays at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, sharing the venue with the Dolphins. Many other Hurricanes teams compete on or close to the Coral Gables campus, including baseball at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field.
